Alpha Rant CD preview
I've been working on the jacket and CD designs for the Alpha Rant CD's that we are going to be putting out soon. There are over 150 hours of rants so far so the files will be in mp3 format(no way am I making 113 audio CD's per package O_o ), and I'll probably include a menu system on the CD - html or flash, I'm looking into it.
Below is a first look preview of what the package will look like. Each season will have 2-3 CD's included.

Will the discs be hybrid? (Mac/PC)
They should be. I'm going to use a flash interface. I have a mac friend who can test it before I produce them. I'll check into it before they go out ;)

Huh. I'd say that it's looney to try and sell that, but evidently we already have a few customers in line.
Whatever floats peoples' boats. I'll buy the printed comic (already have), but that's all I'd buy.
Well, People asked for it, so I think it's a good idea to get them out there. And because I'm not into doing things half-assed, there will be extras, like animations, deleted scenes etc, and each CD will have it's own interface and playlist.
Cool cool. I know I'd buy it but I wouldn't expect all of the Brudlos brothers' fans to. The main product is the comic, stuff like this (or the t-shirts) is just extra for those who want a cool thing and want to support the comic.
Seems like a great set of items to round out the store! Any word on a tentative price point yet, Joe?
We are looking at somewhere around $11.95 a season and $24.95 for all 3 seasons and a couple package deals with other things,

The book and Rant Special,
The Book both shirts and all the rants special etc.
I meant to have the preorders for the rants up today, but I'm working on some of the details of the cds first. Still I should have the preorders ready to go this weekend.
I'm hoping to be done with production in a month and start shipping them out then.
The Alpha Rants have kept me going through my own art projects for several month now, so I felt obligated to preorder them as soon as I could. Thanks for going the extra mile on these (and all the A.S. productions), Joe. That trait is going to bring you far in this field.
